Event: The Sound @ Dave & Buster’s 6:00 pm to 9:00pm. You may register Online; the deadline is July 17 or until filled to capacity. This event is for students 11 – 18 years of age. “All-You-Can-Eat-&-Play” is $35 per student.

July 20, 2019

Event: Brunch with Brilliance & Community Service held in the UMMBC Fellowship Hall for youth & their friends (Rising 6th-12th Grade) 10:00am until 2:00pm. You may register online; the deadline is today.

July 21, 2019

Event: Youth Sunday at 11:00am Service. Please wear your Youth Day T-shirt. CALLING ALL WOMEN Pastor Armstead would like to invite all the women to a gathering and fellowship to share his vision for UMMBC’s Women’s Ministry. This will take place on Monday July 22nd at 6pm. Light refreshments will be served.



The Active Adults Ministry is collecting items for Senior Services Christmas in July. A complete list of requested items is available at the Welcome Desk. However, we are targeting the following items:

  • Canned chicken, tuna, or salmon
  • Dish detergent
  • Kitchen towels and dishcloths
  • Gift cards (Pharmacy or grocery store)

A collection box is at the information desk. We will collect items until the 1st Sunday in August.



We will begin our next 13 week sessions of Griefshare & DivorceCare on Mondays be-ginning on August 5 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. respectively. The registration fee is $15 which includes workbook, materials and refreshments. Childcare is available upon request. Online registration is available or call the church office at 336-761-1358 for more information.

Where: First Baptist Church, 700 N. High-land Ave. Winston Salem, NC 27101

There will be food, games, music and more. School supplies and book bags will be available or children.



The Men’s Triangle Ministry in conjunction with The William Roscoe Anderson Recreational Center (The Reynolds Park Gym) will hold it’s annual summer reading workshop on Thursday August 15, 2019 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Reynolds Park Gym. We are asking that volunteers sign-up outside the church office by Sunday August 11, 2019 or contact Vernon H. Ross at email or by phone 336-923-2971.



The Active Adults Ministry is planning a trip to The Barn Dinner Theatre to see Black Nativity. The tentative matinee date is Saturday, November 23. If you're interested, see sign-up sheet at Information Desk. Tickets are $51.00 and are going fast therefore reservations will be made within next few weeks.



Volunteers are needed for the 8:00am and 11:00am worship services. Please contact Sigrid Hall 336-816-8955 to assist with this ministry. 



The Audio/Video Ministry is asking all per-sons interested in becoming a member of the ministry to contact Brother Gary Koontz. Training will be provided. For additional information, please contact the church office via telephone at 336-761-1358 or via email.
