SENIOR MISSIONARIES

The Forsyth County Missionary Union will meet today at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1075 Shalimar Dr. 27107: 1:30pm Youth and Seniors Mass Meeting at 3 pm The Senior Missionaries thank all of you, especially the youth for the many items given for the Baptist Training Institute Outreach Project.

 

BIRTHDAY COMMITTEE

If your Birthday is during the months of January—June and you are a member of UMMBC, you and your spouse are invited to attend the celebration. The celebration will be held immediately after the 11:00am service on June 2nd.

 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL TEACHERS

The Vacation Bible School planning committee would like to invite all individuals who are interested in teaching Vacation Bible School to please sign-up at the Information Desk. Teaching experience is not required. Lead Teachers and co-teachers are needed for our youth - Pre-K thru 12th grade, Young Adults (ages 18-34).

 

GRADUATE SUNDAY

We are celebrating our members who are 2019 high school, collegiate, and graduate school graduates on Sunday, June 9, 2019, during the 11:00am service. Please visit the Information Desk or church website for further details pertaining to this exciting event. All forms and information are due Friday, May 31, 2019 by 5pm.

 

UMMBC GIRL SCOUTS

The UMMBC Girl Scouts are traveling to Washington, DC, June 21-23, 2019. We will visit the National Museum of African American Culture and History, Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, other historic sites and will stop by King's Dominion on the return home. Accommodations are in the National Harbor within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the Potomac River. YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

New Sunday School class for Young Adults Ages 18 and up in room 321 from 9:50am until 10:45am each Sunday

The office will be closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.

 

2019 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:

Monday, June 10th - Thursday June 13th, 2019 are the dates for Vacation Bible School 2019. We will convene from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30! 2019 Theme: ON SAFARI: Man-aging What Belongs To God-Theme Verse: - The earth is the Lord's, and every-thing in it, the world and all who live in it." (Psalm 24:1 NIV) We will have a fun, action packed week. We invite ALL to at-tend. Mark the dates on your calendar. Classes will be offered for the following age groups: Pre-K (3 - 4 year olds), Kindergarten- 1st Grade, Middle Elementary (2nd - 3rd Grade), Upper Elementary (4th-5th Grade), Middle School, High School, Young Adults (18-34), Adults. AUDIO/VIDEO MINISTRY
